Jayqua graduated from Park High School in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and is now enrolled at Mankato State University in Minnesota where he will major in Dentistry. Jayqua is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Giadyu of Bassa Dorkpah, the Minnesota Chapter of UNIBOA.
